Family Fun in Downtown Wichita!

Event Date: Sat. Aug. 14, 2010, RAIN OR SHINE
Where: Downtown Wichita, Naftzger Park and surrounding area including Eaton Place, and Parking Lot in front of Old Spaghetti Warehouse. Entrance gate is at the corner of Douglas & St. Francis.
Time:   11 a.m. -7 p.m.

Get your wristbands at Papa John's & Genghis Grill, or buy them on event day at the gate. Cash only, please.

  • Adult Wristband: $20 - Includes all outdoor Taste of Wichita samplings, and 5 beer/wine tasting tickets for guests 21 and over. Valid I.D. required to receive alcohol sampling tickets, no exceptions.
  • Kids 5 – 12 Wristband: $5 - Includes all outdoor Taste of Wichita samplings
  • Kids 4 & under: Free, no wristband necessary - Includes all outdoor Taste of Wichita samplings
  • Adult VIP Wristband: $50 - Includes all outdoor Taste of Wichita Samplings, and 10 beer/wine tasting tickets (5 at main gate and 5 more when you enter VIP lounge) for guests 21 and over. Valid i.D. required to receive alcohol sampling tickets, no exceptions. Also includes admission into the VIP Lounge which will be set up inside the air conditioned Eaton. The VIP Lounge will host fabulous food, tantalizing dessert bites, wine tasting, massage, photos, a silent auction, and even more fun!!

This day of fun will, in part, benefi two very important local charities. 

The Lord’s Diner serves an average of 400 Wichitans in need hot, nutritious meals 7 days a week, 365 days a year. 

No More Hungry Kids Your donation (onsite or online) to support the City of Wichita’s No More Hungry Kids Program not only helps provide local low-income school children with backpacks filled with nutritious food for the weekend, it also enters* you for a chance to win a pair of Dave Matthews Band tickets. Ticket giveaways every hour until 5:00 p.m.

Help us stock the pantry and help our local kids!

You can participate in one of two ways.

  1. Stretch your donation dollars and donate online. Just print your donation confirmation e-mail, write your telephone number on it, and drop it in our contest box.
  2. OR donate needed supplies onsite. Any of the items below are acceptable (and welcome) donations. So we may remain consistent in what we provide, please do not bring any food items that are not listed.

  • Beef Jerky Sticks
  • Peanut Butter (small jars are best)
  • Cash
